Behind the shot

This small canyon has become one of my favorite to visits when out west. Although it is no secret, it is always amazing to see in person. We usually go in November and the water is pretty frigid by that point. If you look at the ladder, and I say that very loosely, you can see the large icicles that had formed. I did not bother exploring past that point. When exploring canyons out west during the winter months it is always important to research to see if they have water. If they do, then neoprene socks can help tremendously to help keep your feet warm.
